Homemade Herbalism

Join us and The Medicine Grove on a journey into Homemade Herbalism.

In this 3hr workshop students will be learning all about common garden and medicinal herbs to create restorative & nourishing teas, oxymels and body oils for homemade herbalism. We have an entire pharmacy and apothecary at our fingertips when we grow our own herbs. Learn the fundamentals to get you and your family living healthy and naturally!

Cost - $74 + Booking Fee per person

In the session participants will be guided by our facilitator Sari (The Medicine Grove) to explore the following topics:

You will learn

Key herbs and uses

How to grow and process nourishing herbs

How to tell when to harvest for optimum vitality

Drying/preservation techniques

How to use everyday pantry items to add to your family care skillset and create self care formulations.

Tea + oxymel + Body oil preparation & applications.

Participants will leave with their very own herbal oxymel and body oil. 

About The Medicine Grove
Sari & Kem run The Medicine Grove, a certified organic herb farm in Bellingen. With a focus on creating botanical goods focussed on accessibility & justice. Sari is a practicing herbalist and doula with a passion for community health

Venue:

The Lazy Daisy is a modular retail / coffee / workshop space. Dedicated to bringing our customers amazing experiences focussed on outdoor living, gardening, food and design. Open Fri, Sat & Sun within the Bonville Nursery grounds.

This workshop requires a minimum of 10 bookings for this class to run. If on the rare occasion we do not receive enough bookings. You will receive a refund if you have already purchased tickets.
