ABOUT
Learn about the awesome plants of Gumbaynggirr Country. Led by the wonderful Mujaay Ganma Foundation, founders of the Yuraal Native Nursery.
In 4hrs the team will share a deeper knowledge of the Gumbaynggirr cultural world view and how native plants fit into it. You'll get hands on learning of propagation methods unique to Australian natives and explore what plants are useful & delicious bushfoods. Attendees will leave with a selection of natives they've propagated themselves to grow on at home!
All profits from the day go to The Mujaay Ganma Foundation.
The Mujaay Ganma Foundation provides cultural support from Elders to people affected by cancer. They work to build capacity for young people to contribute to community and are also responsible for providing and developing the Yuraal Native Nursery, which is a place to conserve vital native plants through seed banks, regeneration and provide an open space to improve health amongst the community.
